Microsoft and Nokia have released several different colorful accessories in recent years, including wireless chargers, battery packs, headphones, and more. Today the folks in Redmond introduced the latest addition to their accessory lineup.

The Microsoft Comfort Headset is a pair of headphones that combines in-ear and earbud styles. to offer a “semi-canal” design. Microsoft says that the Comfort Headset fits the shape of the human ear to offer maximum comfort, a feat that it achieved bylearning from research of other earphones as well as ergonomics of the ear.

The Comfort Headset has a frequency response of 20-20,000Hz, a speaker impedance of 32 ohm, and it’s got a built-in answer/end key. The earphones come in white, black, and orange colors to match Microsoft’s Lumia smartphones, and its cable length is 120 cm. Speaking of the cable, the Comfort Headset’s got a straight cable made of smooth material to prevent tangling.

Microsoft’s Comfort Headset will launch in March at a price of 15 euros ($17 USD). Obviously we’ll have to stick ‘em in our ears before we can make any judgments about how they sound, but Microsoft’s claims about comfort and un-tanglability make them sound enticing.
