If you’re a OnePlus One user that hasn’t yet tried SwiftKey, you’re about to have the third-party keyboard thrust upon you.

OnePlus announced today that it’s partnered with SwiftKey to have the third-party keyboard integrated directly into CyanogenMod 11S for the OnePlus One. A CM11S update will bring SwiftKey to all OnePlus Ones, and once that update is installed, SwiftKey can be enabled by going into the Language and Input section of your Settings app.

“We always look to improve user experience by working with partners who share our vision of great products and sensible innovation”, said Helen Li, OnePlus’s chief of mobile product. “SwiftKey improves the keyboard experience for our global user base with support for 81 languages.”

It’s kind of interesting to see OnePlus partner with SwiftKey to integrate the app into the OnePlus One, not only because OnePlus has railed against bloatware in the past, but also because SwiftKey is available for free from Google Play for everyone. I suppose by pushing SwiftKey to everyone and then making an announcement about it, there may be a couple of One users that check SwiftKey that wouldn’t if the two companies had simply just made an announcement along the lines of “Hey, SwiftKey is awesome, you should use your OnePlus One to download it from Google Play.”

Oh, and in case you OnePlus One users were concerned that this SwiftKey update might have an effect on your Lollipop treat, don’t worry. OnePlus says that this update won’t affect the February OTA, going on to tease that it’s got “something pretty sweet” coming soon
