Remember that rumor that claimed that the Rose Gold version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be making its way to Verizon Wireless? Well today the Verizon Rose Gold Note 3 got into a U-Haul and made the move from Rumorville to Officialtown thanks to Samsung.
Samsung has confirmed on its official press website that the Rose Gold version of the Galaxy Note 3 will be "available exclusively on Verizon Wireless." As you can see in the images above, Verizon will be offering the white version of the Rose Gold Note 3, complete with golden accents on its outer edge, home button, camera housing and S Pen.
The Rose Gold Note 3's specs are the same as the plain ol' black and white models that launched last year. That means that the device is packing a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and 2-megapixel camera on its face, 13-megapixel shooter on its backside and a 2.3GHz quad-core processor stuffed into its blingy frame.
Unfortunately for Verizon subscribers that also happen to be fans of golden phablets, Samsung conveniently left out two important details of this Rose Gold Note 3. Yep, the company didn't reveal exactly when Note 3 will hit Verizon's shelves or how much it'll cost when it does.
It's likely that Verizon will price the Rose Gold Note 3 in a manner similar to that of the regular black and white Note 3 models, which are currently going for $299.99 with a two-year contract. As for a launch, the fact that Samsung has added this device to its press site suggests that its retail debut could be near. Stay tuned and I'll give you a shout once Samsung and Verizon become a bit more chatty about the Rose Gold Note 3's availability.
UPDATE: Verizon has announced that the Rose Gold White Galaxy Note 3 will be available by the end of January.
