Motorola continued its streak of updating its Moto G/Moto X and Droid apps today, bumping the Motorola Migrate app up to version 1.2.1. The big addition in this new update is support for migration from iCloud, which should make it nice and easy for iOS users to transfer all of their personal data from Apple's cloud to Moto's. Motorola has also tossed in some "minor bug fixes" for good measure.
The Motorola Migrate app is capable of transferring text messages, music, photos, call history and more from an Android or iOS device to a Moto X, Moto G, Droid Mini, Droid Ultra or Droid Maxx. Transferring data from one phone to another can make the excitement of getting a new phone fade faster than you can say "MotoMaker," so it's nice to see Motorola offer a tool to ease the process.
If you're rocking one of the aforementioned Motorola-made handsets, be sure to mosey into the Google Play Store at your earliest convenience so that you can grab the newest version of Migrate.
