Looks like AT&T won't be the only U.S. carrier to offer a more capacious 32GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S 4. Verizon just announced that it will begin selling the 32GB Galaxy S 4 through its website on June 29, with orders expected to ship by July 3. Pricing for the 32GB Galaxy S 4 will be set at $299.99 with a two-year contract. One detail that the carrier doesn't mention is which color(s) the 32GB model will be available in.
Verizon currently sells the Galaxy S 4 with 16GB of built-in storage for $199.99 with a two-year commitment, and while that model comes with a microSD card slot so that users can add more memory if they'd like, having 16GB of additional built-in storage certainly couldn't hurt. Those 16 extra gigabytes will cost buyers an additional $100 over the base Galaxy S 4, but by adding a 64GB microSD card, the pricier model will also be able to reach a total of 96GB of memory. Sounds like a pretty nice option for anyone with a vast media library and a desire to carry it with them everywhere that they go.
UPDATE: June 29 is now here, and the 32GB Galaxy S 4 is now available for purchase from Verizon's website. The good news is that the big red carrier is offering the device in both black and white versions, so Verizon customers interested in the 32GB Galaxy S 4 won't have to settle for one color or the other. Pricing for the device is set at $299.99 with a two-year contract and $699.99 commitment-free.
