The good: Great customer service, prices and very very few dropped calls
The bad: They could go 3G and have a better selection of phones.
Summary: Have been with them for 6 yrs. When I moved to GA, FL and MN, I never had a problem with the service. Ive gone to Europe twice and was able to use my phone(quad band) there with no problems @ all. My friends were on other carriers and their phones were useless.
The good: - feature packed
- large internal/external screen
- thin
- Large Keys
- 3G/EDGE
- Solid voice quality
The bad: - lacks polish compared to other in class
- navigation system is a pain
- slow software with memory card
- no FM tuner
Summary: I am an avid handset user ( meaning I go through a new one every month or 2.)
So here is the down and dirty about this phone.
- can play AAC/MP3...however when using the "music player" it will only look for mp3 files in your phone or storage card. The only way to access any aac files is to go through the horrific menu set up to access them. Once you find the files, you are able to play them, but access to the EQ settings is not there?! Weird.

- Camera is standard issue for a 1.3mp phone. Nothing out of the ordinary

- I have read that there were problems with connection drops going from 3G to EDGE and vice versa. This is not uncommon for a 3G capable handset as the the 3G is a hyrbid of CDMA and GSM frequencies.

- I personally havent had any issues with the reception and have opted to use the EDGE service instead by shutting iff the 3G receptor by using this code from the standby screen: 277634#*#->Modem Setting->Network Mode->2G only. The phone will get wayyyyy better battery life and should not have the dropped call issue.

In conclusion, I was a little confused by this phone. I was not exactly sure what market it was targeted for because it seems to have too many features for someone that just "make calls" and use it sparingly. For the Features it does have (not provider supported) it lacks control and quite frankly there are other manufacturers that make better versions.

The good: good keypad, big inside screen, ok picture quality
The bad: small outside screen, not bluetooth compatible
Summary: This is a phone for big texters, like me. Even though you've probably heard that a lot so far, it's true. That's all I looked for when I was buying a phone. "is it good with texting? Should I go with a razor (size over everything) or this Kyocera (texing over everything)?

If u luv 2 txt, go w/dis phone.
The good: 3G Network, Full HTML, Clear Calls, Great Features
The bad: Sometimes slow
Summary: I have the Ocean, which is a great device. It has everything I wanted in a combination device/smartphone. The only problem I have is that it will not Bluetooth connect to my computer - it only connects to hands-free devices. Being able to connect to the computer without wires is a plus to me. The network is good. I can get calls in my home as well as around the city of Chicago. No problems thus far. Sometimes the Internet is a little slow. Other than that, I like the ability to search via the home page.
The good: Durability, ease of use, raised numbers work great for long nails, wonder volume
The bad: Lacks dialing by voice.
Summary: I have had mine for over a year now and wouldnt trade it for anything. I have bounced the phone off of all kinds of surfaces. Got it wet, sandy and have about beat it to death and still works great. It should be a timex, keeps a licking and keeps on ticking. I would recommend this to anyone who is rough on phones.
The good: internal antenna, sleek clamshell design make this phone better than my Nokia 6105a.
The bad: The camera is easy to use, but I have yet to figure out how to email pictures directly from the phone. You can bluetooth or text the pictures to another phone, (and then send to your email from that phone) but not straight to your email without a special usb adaptor link that you must purchase/order separate.
Summary: We love this phone. It was a decent price, and it has great graphics and enough music featues to impress my first time, cell phone owning teenage son.
The good: Smart key pad. Even though the key pad is small, the phone programs the letter buttons that sit next to the numbers to display the number if you hit it while dialing in the call screen. Camera and video is amazing.
The bad: Have to go through too many steps to turn on silent.
Summary: This has been a great phone. I have had it for about 6 months. I am a Realtor and this phone has everything I need to make my job a breeze! Not only can I store my daily calender, I can even pull up listings on the interent while I am with a client. Fantastic!
The good: Text easy and very accessible. love the camera, easy access to everything. large front and main screen and great sound quality. love the exterior mp3 controls. Slim and adorable, I love the phone!
The bad: The numbers are hard to push just one, but its easy to adjust. The exterior scratches easily
Summary: I have the green version of this phone and love it. I'm 14 and use a cell phone on a daily basis and am constantally texting and on the phone. I have no complaints. At first I had trouble pushing just one button, but that was an easy thing to adjust to. And the exterior does scratch easily, but I fixed that problem and covered up the blemishes with a cute cover. I would highly recomend this phone to anyone!!!
The good: Customer service provided is very friendly, informative and professional.
The bad: No complaints.
Summary: My phone service quality has gotten better over the last couple of years. In my business mobile phone service is of upmost importance. I now am in process of switching to wirelesss home phones and wireless internet service. The sales person at Morris Furniture, Many, La. has guided me with info, advise and professional courtesy.
The good: Great features.
Very stylish.
Large Screen.
Great camera & video.
The bad: So many features, I haven't figured them all out.
Summary: I previously had a Razr v3 which I like very much, until I accidentially dropped it in a pool (it did actually work for almost a year after). I upgraded to the v9 and couldn't be happier. It's great looking phone with a ton of features! Picture and video quality is great.
I'm still trying to learn all of the cool features.
I would definately recommend this phone!
The good: -Super thin
-Light
-Durable (been dropped a few times)
-Easy to open right away
-big screen
-good camera
-can view videos full screen
-videos can be as long as memory allows
-takes mirco sd cards
-Great sized keys
-cool number font effects
-bright colors
-different themes and menus to choose from.
-its loud when it rings
-great 50 dollar price with 2 year contract.
-cool camera color effects
-can set to say things out loud to you.
_______
The bad: Cons
-i don't use it for music, so sometimes the touch buttons on the outside beep in my pocket, but there is a lock key, but then you can view the time on the outside screen real quick without holding down lock key.
-when you zoom using the camera it makes a sound like weapons charging that is amazingly loud and the only way to turn it off that ive found is turning the sound off for the whole phone.
-when it vibrates its not as strong as it could be.

__________

-wh
Summary: Good phone, good value, super thin. recommended. i love it 9.7/10
The good: Larger coverage area, no drop calls.
The bad: Customer service is not very nice
Summary: I have sprint before Alltel, there is no comparison. Alltel is a great service provider.
The good: great reception and great costumer service and great phones
The bad: none
Summary: I would encourge anyone looking for a cellular phone service to sign up with us cellular they have great customer service and great service and unlimitied call me minutes
The good: Its cheap and they have nice people and good phones.
The bad: I dont like how if your bill goes over what your downpayment was then your phone is shut off.
Summary: I personally love this service. I never have any problems with my phone. I know that it is better than AT&T, I used to have there service. Keep up the good work guys.
The good: cheap, easy to use, clear voice quality
The bad: Higher per minute cost
Summary: I wanted to buy phone for my wife so that we can be in touch when she goes for after school activities for my kids or for shopping. After reading reviews on the net and studying all the available deals, I decided to go for "Tracfone". Since we may be using not more than 15 minutes per week, cost per minute was not our selection criteria but ease of using, buying minutes etc. I started the tracfone service after following the instructions given in the booklet, which were easy to understand. Though it was lot of digits to be punched, since it was one time, I did not care. I did it online. I read lot about bad customer service but I was never required to call them at all during installation. Buying minutes was also easy online. So I would highly recommend this phone who rarely use the phone but want it more as security and connectivity.
The good: Cheap and reliable
The bad: Lacks features and adding time is now a hassle. Takes about an hour with a customer service rep instead of 5 minute on their site.
Summary: I have mixed reviews on them. First off I want to say is they falsely advertise. The phone I got claimed to have web support. It does not. If your getting it think you can get online with it, forget it. Now I know some phones from other carriers also claim internet service but limit you to within their private network and people are upset about this. This isn?t the case, there is no web access at all. It a flat out lie and false advertising.
Also I thought I could share picture messages with my friends, forget about it. The only pictures I seem to be able to exchange are some old-style dot matrix graphics that are preloaded in the phone with other net10 users. I couldn?t even send it to my brother with a real cell phone that accepts real pictures and video.
Ringtones are a joke. You seem to be stuck on their tones from their site. And you cant even view them unless you have a phone already because you need to enter your numbers from your phone to access them. None of them really peaked my interest, but I bought one anyways.
There are supposedly graphics and such that you can download but this isn?t true either.
When I got the phone 300 minutes were included with it. However, you try to add them you find out that you cant. I had to call customer service to get my free minutes that came with my phone. It was a long and tedious process where I ended up having to add a few long codes into my phone. I did get my minutes but it was a hassle. My friend had the same problem but never called and got her minutes. She purchased hers maybe a year later. So it wasn?t a freak incident.
Adding time use be easy. I use to log on their site and add time. Now it doesn?t work. It goes all the way to the processing the credit card then fails. It simply just continues to try for a long time and fails. Last time I had to call in to order more minutes. Afterwards the site seemed to work and I could even order ringtones again. But again, I am running to a repeat. Calling them to add time every month for number of weeks will be a huge inconvenience. It is a long drawn out time consuming hassle with someone whom barely speaks English on a phone system that you can barely hear the other party. Sorry but I do not wish to spend an hour or hour and a half each time I wish to add time to my phone. They simply try giving you different excuses like they need to put you in the system and such, well oddly, I?m now sitting in the same situation a month later and I?m in their system. I think it has something to do with this new automatic monthly payment deal they started. I think they are forcing their members to use this method by causing them hardship using other methods.
One other thing is if you run out of your service time or minutes, you loose your number. So you need to be sure you keep them up. I fear to be talking and run out of minutes because then I will have to get a new number. And I really like the easy number I got by luck of the draw. Especially
The good: Speaker volume
Easy buttons
Easy navigation thru phone
GREAT battery life
Cool display
Excellent voice recognition
GETS RECEPTION EVERYWHERE!!!
The list goes on...
The bad: Poor picture once image is captured.
Summary: I LOVE this phone. It has since been phased out so finding one may be difficult. I have had it for a year with little signs of wear & tear. I am very rough with my phones but this one has stood the test of time!
The good: Never had a dropped call.
The bad: Can't think of any at this time.
Summary: Once the initial sign-up agreement was taken care of, meaning once the billing got straighened out in the beginning of my contract, I have had no problems what-so-ever. I use my cell for mostly when I travel and emergencies so I don't give my number to everyone, just those that I feel need to have it. So far, after almost two years, I have no complaints.
The good: No monthly bills.. cheap for my use.
The bad: Customer service is hard to understand.
Summary: I have had 3 different tracfones over the last 5 years, all worked fine for me. Ported phone number OK. Worked in remote off road areas. I do not talk a lot however it has always worked for me. There are areas with no cell phone coverage by any company. Most companies have outsourced their Customer Service overseas and are hard to understand. Just a fact of life in the "Modern" world.
The good: - Awesome signal strength
- Zero dropped calls
- Great customer service
- Free incoming calls!
- Free incoming text messages!
- Reasonable prices
The bad: - None
Summary: I signed up with U.S. Cellular based on a friend's recommendation and I couldn't be more pleased. If you live in the midwest, don't even think of buying a GSM phone (AT&T/T-Mobile). CDMA is king out here but Verizon and Sprint have horrible customer service.

U.S. Cellular is the best wireless carrier in America. It's a fact!
