The good: Beautiful display, perfect size, good camera quality love the built in flash,
The bad: Confusing and long set up, cant send pics or DL ringtones unless you buy the package, or DL the ringtones from your cell company site,
Summary: Over all i love this phone. it works great. wonderful clarity. LOVE IT!!!
The good: Light weight, Slider, friggin sweet display
The bad: Hard to purchase do to Helio's inability to produce
Summary: First of all the weight on this phone is exceptional I have never owned a phone that has been so light and user friendly. The features on the phone are far beyond what I have become fond of with other slider devices including the heat also made by Helio.
The good: Walkie Talkie for a dollar only on the days you use it. Very durable. basically a work horse of the Pre-Paid phones. Uses Nextel and Sprint. Runs kinda like a computer. has Java (What computers use). the Re-Boost cards are reuseable and found everywhere. has a pre-paid debit card avalible from boost and green dot. has the fast walkie-Talkie on the market. Has a Sim card so if you break yourt phone or you upgrade or buy a new one it'll make it easy to transfer. The best part if you don't like any
The bad: Now the bad parts. bad pre paid rates and plan rates (not inculding Walkie Talkie). No service in some of the places where sprint has their network. Has to download a text each time. takes forevr to find anything in the web. pricey apps for it. Does not come with a Calculator (it's like 5 dollars to buy one for it)! the battery always needs to be charge or AKA it doesn't last long. to get a good phone it kinda cost alot.
Summary: Overall i like it it has been dependable to me. DO NOT buy it if you only have 1 or 2 friends on it that has walkie talkie and you don't talk to them that much! If it fits your right needs go at it!
The good: Never had a drop call or bad signal. always had my favorite Country ringtones without looking for hours for them. The best costmer service i have ever seen. Cheap phones for people on a budget. Most reliable pre-paid i have ever seen. Uses Sprint Best network. always change plans to meet peoples budget. it's cool if you have a old plan that you like and they updated it and it doesn't fit you you can keep the old plan and price but once you upgrade to the plan you can't go back to the old plan. v
The bad: And the bad parts i hated about virgin mobile. First they didn't use sim cards so if you want to get a new phone or you lost your phone you have all the info and contacts gone (Not your Phone Number). Their phones sucked i hated that they used the same phone brand over and over again, they need to mix it up alittle like in the virgin mobiles in other countries. their Pre-Paid plans when always changing sometimes for the good and most of the times for the worst (In my case). they charged an arm a
Summary: Overall i think Virgin Mobile is a very good Pre-Paid Cell phone plan. It's never let me down in signal and service. A Good starter phone company to get your kids to learn to budget their not only money but minutes and uses.
The good: Loud speaker volume, Bluetooth
The bad: Menu set-up is awkward
Summary: I have hearing loss, but can hear well with this phone. I have enjoyed using the Bluetooth.
Others have complained of dropped calls, but I believe that is a Network problem since I have yet to drop a call.
It has a lot of features, but they're not easy to find on the menu. You have to figure out which category the feature you want to use is buried in.
The good: Media Player, Browser Functionality,
The bad: Unfortunatly Not Going The Way Of The Symbian OS Like The Sony Ericksson. Flash or lack there of and needing to catch light from another source which can be a pain at times..
Summary: I dont know what everyone is complaining about, i go through approx. 5 phones a year at least if not more. This has to be the most functional phone i have had to date. Not to mention if you get a tad bit into the inner workings of your phone like i do myself (which is why i suspect i go through so many phones) get the USB adapter for it and BITPIM the hell outta that thing, modify applications, add new software etc... it makes the use of the phone alot more interesting. Just A Thought=]~
The good: Great coverage in my area (few dropped calls). Pretty good selection of phones. Good customer service most of the time.
The bad: Only regional, although they are expanding quickly.
Summary: I think Alltel offers very good services for being a regional company. They provide great customer service and will usually bend rules to help out clients. Plus they use EV-DO for mobile broadband which is blazing fast compared to GSM (AT&T/Cingular). Also, MyCircle is great.
The good: Never have had to use Customer Service... It just works all the time. Fastest wireless internet in the US.
The bad: None
Summary: I have used all of the big 3 and have had problems with being over charged with all except Sprint. Sprint's wireless internet rocks! It's the fastest around and they don't get wrapped around the axel when you use the connection to game or stream music and video... Don't try that with Verizon Wireless... They'll can you in a heartbeat!
The good: Mostly everything on this phone is exellent. The touch screen has not been a huge problem for me. The web browser is excellent!! And the camera is very good and very clear.
The bad: Sometimes the phone screen won't come on on the outside. You have to flip it open and back closed before it will come on. Also, the phone sometimes just shuts off for no reason. Other than that, it's a very good phone.
Summary: When I first purchased this phone I was afraid of all the problems it might have. I have had my Voyager since the day that they came out and haven't had any real complaints about it. I recommend this phone. It is very expensive but well worth it!!
The good: Loud music player, easy to text and navigate phone, easy to open with one hand, lots of features
The bad: the camera takes forever to take pictures and the service sucks. i have lost several calls. bad battery life-it dies every day and must be charged overnight.
Summary: I overall like the phone itself and the features like music player with external touch keys. it sends texts very slowly which is annoying when u are talking to more than one person. the phone is slightly large but is still lightweight. the screen is huge which i like and it is very durable (i drop it alot).
The good: Full qwerty Kbd
very nice calendar feat. Syncs with outlook nearly 900 contacts already in phone
Mini SD card slot

The bad: Battery life is short... i have to charge it daily. Energizer (motorola) recharge kit works wonders in a pinch. (May take a while to learn if you are not computer minded.) I am fairly good with computers and amd still learning some avail features. The basics however are easy! almost forgot... the holster it comes with sometimes hangs up or answers phone when putting in or taking out of holster.
Summary: Full qwerty Kbd for MY Fat Fingers... very nice calendar feat. Syncs with outlook (which is GREAT). Have nearly 900 contacts already in phone. Added to Outlook and sync with phone...
I live in Waterloo Cedar Falls Area of Iowa and run on I-Wireless (T-Mobile). Anyone with MANY contacts (Realator, Sales, or Business contacts) This is a great phone! Pair it with my "Blue ant" Bluetooth headset and I am in heaven. Bought on Sept 25 2007 and so glad i did. Phone took about three good drops, and still running great. When it acts up as it sometimes does turn of and on again and it is back to normal.
The good: -Good about correcting their mistakes on ur bill, gives u credit back.
-Makes few to no mistakes
-Excellent customer service, problem solved first call all the time, short wait time for a Customer Service Rep
-Excellent coverage, I have been too many states outside of WI to know.
-Wide variety of phones, and plans
-Love the 30 day free trial for Verizon, they pay for everything except the taxes
-Dropped calls- A dropped call is like a needle (dropped calls being the needle in a
The bad: None
Summary: I have been with Verizon going on 5 years now, they have always answered my questions and solved problems first call all the time. They are exceptional about fixing their mistakes. Summer of 2004 Verizon mistakingly thought I was cancelling my service with them and i told them I wasn't. For that mistake, they had paid for 4 months of cell phone bills ranging from $80-100, now that was pretty sweet. Their coverage is amazing, I've never had a dropped call, and never had trouble making a call in the rare fact I was in a roaming area. If you choose Verizon Wireless, u'll never want to switch again, GUARNTEED!
The good: light weight, easy to use, good reception
The bad: no camera
Summary: This is a pretty good phone for the price. I would recommend it to my friends for maybe a phone for their kids :)
The good: It does what it say it will do. easy to handle
The bad: Plastic bumpers started coming off 5 months into use. Motorolar says it's not a defect.
Summary: Great phone. I have had to send it back for replacement 2 times. 2nd time I had to give up $50 for the deductable.
Increase the battery life by turn off all beeps and tone down the contrast of the screen.
The good: Feel, display, keys.
The bad: No flash, difficult to open quickly, menu.
Summary: This phone is okay. I have had worse and better, I've had lots of phones. I do like the sleekness of the phone and the buttons are easy to push and actually are just the right size. I am really dissapointed with the menu setup. I have read the book and can not figure out, if it is even possible, how to rearrange how I want my menu. For example, I love to set appointments on my calendar however I have to go through multiple screens to get to it. Either way the phone charges quick with the original wall plug in and lasts a good while. It is really a decent phone.
The good: Excellent Handsets, Great Plans, Extraordinary Coverage and Awesome Features!
The bad: Customer Service and Battery Life.
Summary: Let me start out by saying I have had every major wireless carrier, and am a very tech-savy person. I have switched service providers because I have been searching for a phone that does it all, and a phone company that provides services and features that meet my needs as a technology person. Helio has not only met my needs, but exceeded them with multiple features. What initially attracted me to Helio was the Ocean. Seeing a device with so many capabilities sparked my interest! I had heard about the device long before it's launch on multiple tech sites. The reviews it was getting were very good, and would clealy provide competition for the iPhone. A lot of people compare these two products, and most are firmly on either side. Now I am not here to get into an argument about which is better, however I will say that I was very excited about the iPhone, and was going to go back to ATT just to get it. Well when it came out it lacked features that I use/want (MMS,GPS,3G,Vid Rec etc.) Helio, however, offered these features on almost all of their handsets! While continuing to research the Ocean preparing to sign up I stumbled across the Samsung Fin. This device would pack all of the features of the Ocean into a thin (thinnest flip in U.S.) sleek, compact, sturdy, clamshell design! This got me excited, so I bought it! I have had this phone for about 3 months now, and I absolutely love it! The features are amazing, especially the GPS integration with Google maps. It's like having Google Earth on your phone, only it shows your exact location represented by a flashing blue dot! Which is completely free to use too! There are two other GPS apps on the phone: Garmin mobile and Buddy Beacon. Garmin costs $2.99 for 24 hours of use, and provides voice guided turn by turn directions just like a standard GPS device for a vehicle! This can be very helpful, but keep in mind the Google application also provides directions and tracks your location, however does not provide the voice guided turn by turn directions. The speedy 3G network works great when surfing the web, downloading music from the Helio music store, streaming videos and utilizing all the services Helio has to offer. When I signed up I was fortunate enough to be offered a promotional $99 "ALL-IN Plan" that gives me Unlimited Voice, Text and Data! Highly recommended for people like me that use their phone constantly! I do not have a landline and will never get or need one. The service itself has been nothing less than impressive! I have not had a single dropped call, and I talk a lot! I live in the suburbs of Chicago and commute downtown everyday for work. I was taken back when my phone actually rang when I was deep underground on the red line (subway)! This absolutely blew me away, as I take this train all the time and have never seen anyone on their phone, and mine actually rang as I was travelling underground through tunnels under the streets of Chicago! I was able to make a
The good: No dropped calls, great cust serv, price
The bad: limited phones
Summary: I have had Suncom for over three years with GREAT service. I always read these horrible reviews, but can't relate. I never have problems with customer service or my bill which is a huge plus coming from another big name carrier! I had the Hiptop 1, 2 and now 3 with Suncom. My husband has the 3 as well and my daughter has the Sony Walkman. For all three lines with unlimited minutes night and day, unlimited data plans for both Hiptops that includes, unlimited email, web ( fully integrated btw) MMS and unlimited Text I pay $170 a month! I took a trip to California and spent the entire time on T-mobiles tower, never was charged roaming. I love my service so much, Our phones have replaced the house phone, saving me an extra $50 a month. I'm not discrediting other negative reviews, but for me, the price and plans are amazing, will never switch! my only complaint is the small variety of smartphones!
The good: Great Camera
Comfortable to hold/use
Straightforward, nothing tricky
Stylish/Slick
The bad: If the phone is slid open during a call, sliding it closed automatically ends the call, just a small thing to be cautious of as I've hung up on a couple of friends by accident due to this.
Summary: A good overall phone with a well thought out layout and many personalisable (if that's a word) options.
The good: Every two years can get a new free phone, if you renew your contract. unlimited texting. unlimited mobile to moble. I have two lines i'm paying $100/month w/unlimited texting. friendly customer service.
The bad: Can't think of anything
Summary: I love cingular. I hope att doesnt change it much. i like their service. every two years can get a new free phone, if you renew your contract. unlimited texting. unlimited mobile to moble. I have two lines i'm paying $100/month w/unlimited texting. friendly customer service.
The good: Cost(about$30-$40 with contract), ease of use and features(camera,MP3 and ability to get e mail without adding internet to your plan).
The bad: The menu(s) on this phone are a bit of a pain to get use to and it stocked with very few ringtone options(guess they wan you to buy them). You can use mp3`s as ringtones though.
Summary: It`s a great little starter phone for people interested in getting a smart phone . It`s far from being a Blackberry but very user friendly.
