The good: Good battery life
The bad: Camera quality is poor. Keypad function is poor. Poor installed ring tone options (geared toward you buying more).
Summary: The phone sounds very good and is very reliable. Battery life is good. The camera quality is poor and makes this feature almost not worth having. The keypad function is poor. I constantly mis-type numbers and goof up text messages.
The good: no monthly service fees, deals for subscribers
The bad: potentially expensive if you need a "regular use" phone
Summary: I had tracfone for around a year and never had any problems with the service. It worked flawlessly and I always got emailed "coupons" for service discounts. I'd recommend the service to anyone who wants a cell phone but doesn't want to deal with monthly bills.
The good: Rugged constructions. Good audio and range. Works well with Bluetooth.
The bad: Keyguard unlocks every time a message comes in or bluetooth is used.
Summary: I like the Qwerty keyboard. I like the front keyboard. I got it as a Bluetooth upgrade for the Kyocera Slider I'd had and liked for over 3 years. Features and operation are almost identical to the Slider so there has been a zero learning curve with slightly improved performance.
The good: Takes minisd card, plays mp3's/has mp3 player features such as shuffle, playlist, etc.
Pictures and video compatible.
The bad: Semi-bulky, videos limited to 10 seconds.
Summary: I've had this phone for almost six months and it is prertty durable. I would say it is a little bulky in todays' slimphone market. I basically use it as a phone, but I store about 40 mp3's easily on a 1gb mini-sd card for traveling locally an dit came in handy when my ipod was inf or repairs. It does take full advantage of the zillion vcast features and with a little tweaking, you can make your own relatones.
The good: Easy dialing, Great reception, functional menu.
The bad: Battery life is 2-3 days still not bad
Summary: Overall a great phone and very durable. I've had for almost two years with no problems
The good: GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PHONES, GREAT CUSTMER SERVICE
The bad: none
Summary: I have been with alltel for 4 months now and it is the greatest phone company out there. They have good service and they are just good. I use to be with sprint and i hated it so much they never had service in raul areas but not alltel your phone works in raul areas and you can use your phone on digital and antlog networks but it is mostley digital. I love every minute of it. yes i would recommend this company to anyone. I have a lg ax490 and i love it to. But when you are in antlog area's mostley you can send and recive text and make calls but most of the time you will be in ditigal area. And if you travel to the country this is a great company for you.
The good: Coverage, especially since they can roam to both Cingular and TMobile's towers (which they don't do with each other) Offering all 3 companies coverage maps. Overall monthly cost for the minutes you get (even knowing they're regional)
The bad: Customer Support stinkss, uncaring, unknowledgable, high cost of initial phones, not the latest & greatest phones, Wireless Data on phones lacks MANY features, Sending picture messages is a royal pain to other subcribers than centennial.
Summary: I had a pretty good sales person, she was knowledgable, but the customer non-support need to be sent to sensativity training as well as required to complete the third grade. I get better service in my home vs. Cingular or Tmobile, but have the option to "manually" roam to their towers, which I know on both of their phones you don't have that option to do so. I came from Verizon, which I will say was a little more expensive but however evil their customer service was eventually you'll get someone that knows something. Centennial this has YET to happen! I've been misbilled, billed for things I didn't sign up for, overbilled and everything else imaginable. But I would probably make the same decision and go with them again. Just wish they had the "latest" phones when they came out instead of waiting 6 months to a year or more for them to come out.
The good: Today Menu, Included Programs, Speedy
The bad: Size, Keyboard, Touch Screen
Summary: I have had this phone since the beginning of the year. The screen is nice but feels crampted. They keyboard is ok but sometimes it doesn't register a click and it is not the best out there. The reception is just average. The speakerphone is a bit too quiet. Internet on the phone is a good for light browsing/checking e-mail, but not good for anything serious. The media player is just ok but feels too bloated. The camera is simply average.
The good: its small, easy to use, big display
The bad: the speaker phone is useless, backlight doesn't stay on long enough
Summary: i have always had a Motorola so this is my first LG, i have had it since december and i love it... great phone only found 2 cons otherwise i have no problems whatso ever... i have dropped it a couple of times and no problems.... all in all great phone.
The good: -removable memory
-interface
-features
The bad: -size
-music player
-battery life
Summary: this was one of the first camera phones that i had a chance to use long term. Overall it is a great phone with upgradeable memory and plenty of features. The quality of this phone, which is now two years old phone still competes with todays models. As an owner of this phone, I can consider it the best phone verizon has release to date. The only drawbacks are the overall size of the phone, and the lackluster battery life when using any of the multimedia functions. What initally drew me to this phone is the absence of verizons ugly User interface and the ability to customize almost every aspect of the phone
The good: Very reliable phone, comfortable for holding between your shoulder and ear when talking, loud volume.
The bad: none.
Summary: This is a very reliable phone, no wonder it's so popular! I love this phone because its easy to talk on while juggling it on your shoulder, it also has a nice large color screen to see pics on, comes with a decent camera too. So far I have found no disadvantages to this phone.
The good: Gives you a wide range of features including: Changeable picture resolution, multiple sound profiles, and a good media player.
The bad: Gets absoultely horrible reception. After testing many other phones, this one couldn't even dial out while other phones had three bars of service.
Summary: If you live in an area with a tower nearby then this is an absolutely amazing phone, but if you're in a weak coverage area this is NOT the phone for you.
The good: Slim Design
Smooth surface
light weight
Graphic ok

The bad: So so reception
Little ring tones (you'll have to buy more)
low volume speakers
poor games
hard to use menu
annoying keypad
Terrible reception when calling another mobile (you can call through, but can't hear a thing)
Hard to use side buttons
Very little options
Boring
No memory card (so I have to text all the phone numbers in again)
No speaker for MP3
Soft ringer tone
Not acurate voice recognition

Summary: Don't get me wrong I like how this phone looks and feel, and I've waited a long time to get this phone. I fell in love with this phone when I first got it. It is hot, all my friends want one. The bad part is that, I'm sick of the problems of misdialing, poor receptions, and other things I've listed. After two weeks, technical problems started to arise. People told me they couldn't hear a word from me from time to time, mostly happens when I call other mobile phones, which is strange. I have to take this phone back for a exchange. Then when I try my 2nd phone, it has the same problem again. I'm going back tomorrow to get another exchange. If this time doesn't work I'm going to get my wife's Samsung phone. Her phone didn't look as good as mine, but it's really fun and easy to use. It is loud enough to hear while in public and in a moving car, great reception, and lot more options than this. I've learned my lesson....
The good: Phone itself works fine most of the time and is reasonable priced.
The bad: Customer service is awful.
Summary: Got my TracFone for occasional use-emergencies while on the road, etc, and it has worked just fine for that. It's easy to add minutes when you need them, and minutes are affordably priced. As long as you have no need to call customer service, you're fine. However, if a problem arises and you do have to call for help, take my advice and have some extra-strength Tylenol handy-you're probably going to need them before your problem is finally resolved. My kids recently gave me a new Motorola TracFone for my birthday to replace the old Nokia I had. Tried to activate but sim card wouldn't work. Took awhile but Tracfone sent another phone which did work. I then called to transfer my minutes (about 300 on the old phone) to my new phone. Didn't happen-minutes disappeared while CSR was doing whatever it is they do to transfer minutes and none of the (many) CSR's I spoke with knew how to retrieve them(?)...hmmm...
The good: New 90 day airtime cards, promotional offers, ease of use.
The bad: Air time cards should come with more Units for the price of the cards.
Summary: Over all for me I have never had a bad experience with tracfone.Tracfone always has good promotions. I bought a new phone and transfered my units with the help of the customer service and I had no issues with the service. I plan on staying with tracfone for a long time..
The good: The music quality is great. Great look.
The bad: Low Volume, Slow Downloads.
Summary: I got my phone February 2007. I always used the bluetooth, but I lost it and had to use the phone without it. Neither I nor the person I was talking to could hear each other. I had to put the phone on speaker just to understand a word. Other than that it's a wonderful phone.
The good: Never lets me down. Battery lasts a long time.
The bad: It takes a long time to load up when you turn it on.
Summary: I think that this phone is one of the best I've ever used. As I said, it never lets me down and gets service in places where service would be unexpected.
The good: sound is good
The bad: pressing the key too flat and voice command is a bit confused, ear piece is too slim
Summary: The quality of color and all of this phones layout is excellent I really like it ,is very clear to use as well, voice command is awesome! ,I had a razer ,the pictures are more colorful with frames and sound to mp3 also overall ,I am very happy with this phone and would recommend it.
The good: Nextel Walkie Talkie, GPS Solutions
The bad: Nothing
Summary: Nextel Sprint is the greatest communication solution alive. Nobody else in the marketplace can deliver an instant communication solution like Nextel. I have also implemented a GPS solution that saves my business thousands of dollars monthly. This service pays for itself and provides a return of around 800% monthly. By using Sprint Nextel I continuously put money back into my pocket on a daily basis
The good: Excellent form factor;
Long battery life;
Fully sync with MS outlook (calenda, contacts, emails, tasks, etc.)
View/Edit MS Word and Excel files
The bad: Speakerphone is so so.
Microphone -- The other side can barely hear me. This is a known issue with treo 650. I have to use bluetooth headset or earphone to bypass the internal mic issue.
Summary: This is my first Palm OS device.
I have been a Windows CE fans for many years, and have had multiple IPAQs and Microsoft smartphones. I am a Windows programmer and was hesitating to switch to Palm device (thought Palm OS was not as sophisticated as Windows) at the beginning, but I am very happy with the features of my treo 650. Palm OS consumes much less battery power than Windows OS.
