Hours after new images of the LG G7 ThinQ leaked out, the device has been officially confirmed.
LG today revealed the name of its next premium smartphone as the LG G7 ThinQ. No specs or images of the upcoming device have been shared by LG, but the company did say that it will officially unveil the G7 ThinQ at an event in New York on May 2nd and in Seoul on May 3.
LG also said that the G7 ThinQ will place a focus on AI like the V30S ThinQ before it and that the phone will have an enhanced ability to interact with other devices, according to the translated press release.
One of the ways that LG typically builds up excitement for its upcoming flagship phones is by trickling out information about them in the weeks before their full reveal. By confirming the name of its next phone nearly one month early, it looks like LG could employ this same strategy with the LG G7 ThinQ. Stay tuned.
