Following its announcement at MWC in February, the Huawei Watch 2 is officially launching in the US today.
The Huawei Watch 2 is launching at Best Buy, both in stores and online, as well as at retailers like Amazon, Newegg, B&H Photo Video, Jet, Target, and Walmart. Pricing starts at $299.99 for the Sport model and goes up to $369.99 for the Classic version, the latter of which is coming soon.
As a refresher, the Huawei Watch 2 runs Android Wear 2.0 on a round 1.2-inch 390x390 display. It’s got a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a 420mAh battery. The Huawei Watch 2 is also IP68 certified for dust and water resistance.
Other features of the Huawei Watch 2 include GPS, a heart rate monitor, and NFC. Also of note is that while the Huawei Watch 2 will eventually be available with built-in 4G LTE connectivity, the model that’s launching today does not include that feature.
For a limited time, customers that buy the Huawei Watch 2 will receive 10 weeks of Google Play Music streaming for free.
