US Cellular today announced a new switcher deal that’ll covers the more clumsy among us.
Starting today, US Cellular is offering $300 in switcher credits for consumers that switch to US Cellular and trade in their phone, even if it has a cracked screen. That $300 credit will be split up into two promo cards, with $100 coming at the point of sale and another $200 card coming through the mail six to eight weeks later.
Many carriers offer switcher deals that ask you to trade in your smartphone, but if your device has a cracked screen, it may have little to no value as a trade-in. If you’re interested in switching to US Cellular, though, you can trade in that phone with a cracked screen and get a new device that doesn’t threaten to embed glass shards in your thumb whenever you use its touchscreen.
US Cellular is also offering to buy out the contracts of switchers after they submit their final bill from their former carrier. To qualify, consumers must sign up for My Account and Device Protection+. Once all of the requirements are met, US Cellular will give a MasterCard debit card.
