It’s official: Apple is holding an event later this month.
The Cupertino firm just sent out invitations to a March 21 event with the tagline “Let us loop you in.” As is usually the case with these invites, though, Apple doesn’t say what it plans to show at its upcoming event.
While Apple may not be ready to talk about what will be announced at its event, the rumor mill is happy to make some suggestions. It’s widely expected that the March 21 event will include the debut of the oft-rumored iPhone SE, a new device with a 4-inch screen, the design of an iPhone 5s, and the internals of the iPhone 6 and 6s. The device is expected to have the same A9 processor found in the iPhone 6s as well as an 8-megapixel camera like the one found in the iPhone 6.
Also expected to be shown at this event is a 9.7-inch iPad Pro, complete with support for the Apple Pencil and a Smart Keyboard accessory. Rounding out the announcements is expected to be some new Apple Watch bands, including new Sport bands and a black Milanese Loop.
