Last week, Sprint announced that it’ll give customers a free HDTV when they purchase one of Samsung’s flagship Android phones. But what if you’re not a Sprint customer and want a free TV? Enter Best Buy.
Best Buy is now running a promo that’ll give you a free 32-inch Samsung HDTV when you buy a Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, or Note 5 on AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. You can buy the phone on a 2-year contract, on a Sprint Lease, or a monthly installment plan on AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint.
The free HDTV you get is this model, which appears to be the same one that Sprint is offering as part of its own free HDTV offer. Best Buy’s promo will run through January 2.
The HDTV that Best Buy is giving away isn’t the most high-end television on the market, but that’s not terribly surprising since they’re, you know, giving them away. It’s a decent size and has a 720p resolution, though, and it’s made by a reputable manufacturer. So if you’re in the market for a new smartphone anyway, maybe this Best Buy promo is worth a look since you can score a new TV along with your new phone.
