Use Android Pay? If so, you’ll want to keep an eye out for an update that’s started rolling out.

The new Android Pay version 1.1.106511521, and the folks at Android Police have found that it’s mostly a bug-fixer, which is good because Android Pay is a new payment service and Google needs to ensure that it works well if it wants people to use it and keep using it.

There are a couple of user interface tweaks in the update, like new “See participating banks” and “Send feedback” buttons in the app’s overflow menu. Clicking the former will send you to Android Pay’s website, while the latter is pretty self-explanatory. There’s also a pop-up that’ll appear while you’re in the app that asks if you’d like to “get emails with special offers and invitations to provide product feedback.”

So yeah, this Android Pay update likely isn’t the most exciting app update you’ve ever seen. As I said before, though, if Google wants Android Pay to succeed, it needs to keep squashing bugs and keep the app running as smoothly as possible. Many folks are used to just swiping credit cards to pay for something, and if they decide to try a payment app and it fails on them, that could turn them off of mobile payments.
