BLU Products today introduced the latest member of its Studio line of smartphones, the Studio C.
The BLU Studio C features a 5-inch 1280x720 IPS display and a 2-megapixel camera on its face, as well as an 8-megapixel shooter on its rear. Inside of the Studio C’s body is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6582 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and a non-removable 3000mAh battery.
Connectivity-wise, we’re looking at GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSPA 850/1700/1900. The Studio C will play nicely with GSM carriers in the U.S., including AT&T and T-Mobile and the prepaid carriers that use their networks.
Finally, the Studio C comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop. That’s notable because, while BLU recently started pushing Lollipop updates to some of its existing phones, the Studio C is the first BLU phone to come with Android 5.0 out of the box.
The BLU Studio C is available in white, orange, gray, pink, and green color options, and you can buy it from Amazon right this second for $99.99 unlocked and contract-free. That’s not a bad price for an Android 5.0 smartphone with a 5-inch 720p display and beefy 3000mAh battery, and so folks in the market for an affordable handset may want to give the Studio C a look.
