Time for another HTC device to be updated to Android 5.0.
HTC’s Mo Versi just announced that Sprint has approved the Android 5.0 update for its version of the HTC One E8 and that the update is slated to begin rolling out tomorrow, May 21. Here’s the changelog that HTC has posted for the One E8’s update:
If you’ve got an HTC One E8 on Sprint, you can check for this update by heading into Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now. Once you’re done installing it, you should find yourself on software version 2.32.651.7. You should also find a more Material Design-ified user interface, lock screen notifications, a refreshed Recent Apps menu, and more.
This update is expected to begin rolling out tomorrow. Sprint One E8 owners, keep an eye out for it!
