UPDATE: Well, that was fast. It looks like AT&T's stock of $50 LG G Watch units is now sold out. Were any of you able to snag one before the stock was depleted?
If you’re interested in picking up a new smartwatch but don’t want to spend a lot of cash, AT&T’s got an offer that might interest you.
AT&T’s online store is now selling the LG G Watch for just $50, which is a full $179 less than the G Watch’s original $229 asking price. AT&T is only offering the Titan Black version of the LG G Watch, but for $50, it’s a little tough to complain about a lack of color choice.
The LG G Watch was one of the first Android Wear smartwatches, and while it may not be quite as fashionable as some of the other smartwatches around, it’s still a perfectly functional device. And it’s even going to get the latest Android Wear update that Google announced last month, though it won’t get the Wi-Fi functionality since it doesn’t support Wi-Fi. For $50, though, the LG G Watch isn’t a bad choice for someone on the hunt for an affordable smartwatch.
