Sprint today announced that it’s making some tweaks to Virgin Mobile’s prepaid plans that not only reduce their prices, but also increase their high-speed data allotments.
Starting May 16, Virgin’s Data Done Right single line plans will cost $30 and $40 per month. Both plans include unlimited text and data as well as 3GB of 3G/4G data, but the $30 plan offers 300 minutes per month. The $40 plan includes unlimited minutes.
There are also multi-line plans that include unlimited talk, text, and varying allotments of high-speed data. The $65 plan is good for two lines and offers 6GB of 3G/4G data, the $90 plan is for three lines and includes 10GB of high-speed data, and the top-end $115 plan offers 14GB of high-speed data. One important detail to note is that when you use up all of your data on a multi-line plan, your data access will be cut off, but you can buy more at rates of $10/1GB, $15/2GB, $25/4GB, and $35/6GB.
These Data Done Right plans are available exclusively at Walmart, so you’ll need to hit that retailer up if these refreshed Virgin Mobile plans are piquing your interest.
