HTC’s not afraid to offer limited edition versions of its One line of phones, launching models like the PHUNK One M8, the Harman Kardon One M8, and even a gold-plated One M7. Now that trend is continuing with the HTC One M9.

HTC INK is a new initiative that will include releases of limited edition One M9 models with “custom-designed, body art-inspired engravings.” There aren’t any special One M9 units available quite yet, but HTC did team up with supermodel Jourdan Dunn and celebrity tattooist Cally-Jo Pothecary to create a new design that gives us an idea of what to expect from HTC INK. There are still many details about HTC INK that are up in the air, including how many limited One M9s will be offered and how consumers will be able to get them, but today’s news is surely exciting for HTC fans and anyone whose ears perk up at the words “limited edition.” Stay tuned and I’ll update you with more information on HTC’s INK campaign when they’re available.
