Big news, Android users: Google Calendar is getting its month view back.
Google today revealed a new update for Google Calendar for Android that includes a few notable tweaks. Perhaps the most notable is the return of Month view, which lets you see more events at once. Currently, the app gives you options like a new Schedule view as well as single and seven-day views, but the Month view will let you get a quick overview of your plans for the entire month.
This Google Calendar update also includes the ability to see the color of events when jumping to a date, and it makes switching views easier by listing them in the app’s navigation drawer.
Google says that this update is it improving Google Calendar by responding to user feedback, and I’m sure that there are going to be quite a few folks that are happy to see Month view return to the app. El Goog also notes that it’s working on “many improvements” for the new Google Calendar app for iPhone, so don’t think that Google has forgotten about you, iOS folk.
