Hours after the first wave of Apple Watch reviews hit, Google is making some news for Android Wear fans.
Google announced today that its expanding its curated selection of Android Wear watch faces on Google Play, making it easier to find a watch face that appeals to you. That’s not the only way that Google is making it easier to customize your Android Wear watch, though. El Goog also pointed out that three watch strap shops — E3 Supply Co., Worn & Wound, and Clockwork Synergy — now have sections of their online stores that are dedicated to straps for Android Wear smartwatches.
Android Wear, like straight-up Android, is all about customization and making your smartwatch fit your style. Google is working hard to show that with today’s announcements, especially with all of the Apple Watch news that’s been hitting lately.
