Android 5.1 is now making its way to the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play edition. The update weighs in at around 204MB and will bump your G Pad to build LRX21P. If you’ve got an LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play edition, you can check for the update by going into Settings > About tablet > System updates > Check for updates.

The Android 5.1 update has steadily been rolling out to Nexus and Google Play edition devices ever since its announcement in early March. The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play edition is next in line to get the update, and while most Nexus and GPe products have now gotten 5.1, there are still a few waiting. Expect those updates to roll out over the coming weeks.
