The LG G Flex 2 was officially revealed at the start of January, and it looks like it’ll be in consumers’ hands before the end of the month.
LG has announced that the G Flex 2 will go on sale in South Korea on January 30 for 800,000 Won, or approximately $739 USD. As a refresher, here’s what the LG G Flex 2’s spec list looks like:
Speaking of that Snapdragon 810 processor, LG has chimed in on the reports that Samsung is skipping the S810 for the Galaxy S6 due to overheating issues. Woo Ram-chan, LG’s VP of mobile product planning, said that his company encountered no problems with the Snapdragon 810. “I am very much aware of the various concerns in the market about the (Snapdragon) 810, but the chip’s performance is quite satisfactory,” the exec said.
So far, AT&T, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular have said that they’ll carry the LG G Flex 2 in the U.S. Sprint will begin sales in Q1 2015, U.S. Cellular will launch it in the spring, and AT&T has said that it’ll reveal its launch plans at a later date.
