Heads up, Spotify users, because today the streaming music service unveiled a couple of new features that you should be aware of.
Spotify has revealed Touch Preview, a new way to get a taste of some tunes before actually pressing the Play button. As you can see in the video above, Touch Preview works by pressing and holding your finger on a playlist, song, or album. When you do, you’ll be treated to a small taste of the music that’ll help you decide if you want to listen to the whole thing.
Spotify is also integrating a new swipe gesture into its mobile apps. You can now swipe left on a song to quickly add it to the Your Music collection.
These new features are rolling out to Spotify users on iOS starting today and will be added to other platforms “soon.” They look like nice ways to get a preview of a song before committing to the whole thing and then, if you do dig it, you can easily save it to quickly find it again later.
