JAMP's got the skinny on the HTC Raphael, which is basically the QWERTY-packing variant of the recently announced Touch Diamond smartphone that's got everyone all in a tizzy (and rightly so). Raphael has shown up with a T-Mobile logo slapped on the front, which means it's the "MDA Vario IV" and meant for European markets. But odds are we'll see a CDMA variant of this bad-boy as Sprint's Mogul successor before too long.
The MDA Vario IV is a tri-band GSM device with a full VGA touchscreen, 3.2 MP camera, WiFi, and a 528 MHz CPU. I'm liking the look and, frankly, am more interested in this guy than the Touch Diamond. I'm a sucker for QWERTY boards, what can I say?
