Heads up, Android and iOS users, because your new mobile gaming addiction is here.
Swing Copters, the new game from Flappy Birds creator Dong Nguyen, is now available for download on Android and iOS. The game gives you control of a small creature with a propeller on its head. You’re tasked with navigating between pillars with swinging hammers on both sides of the screen, and to do so you tap the display to change direction.
Swing Copters is a free download on both Android and iOS, and while it includes banner ads — which aren’t present when you’re actually playing — you can pay $0.99 to remove them. So how does it play? It’s definitely reminiscent of Flappy Bird, but it seems even more difficult than its predecessor. In my 15-20 attempts to play Swing Copters, I never managed to make it past 0.
If you’d like to try your luck at Swing Copters, which Nguyen describes as a game that’s “not as easy as it looks,” you can snag it using the download links below.
