Phablet lovers on Boost Mobile, rejoice! Your prepaid operator just announced the Boost MAX, a new Android 4.1-powered handset that features a 5.7-inch HD IPS display on its face.
The MAX's display isn't its only big feature, though, as the phone/tablet hybrid also packs a beefy 3200mAh battery. Rounding out the Boost MAX's spec list is a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage, 4G LTE connectivity and a pair of cameras, with an 8-megapixel shooter around back and a 1-megapixel cam up front.
The Boost MAX is available starting today at a price of $299.99 without a contract. That price places the MAX toward the higher-end of Boost Mobile's lineup, but with a spec list that includes a large HD display and LTE connectivity, its price isn't entirely surprising. The MAX also happens to be Boost's largest phone by a wide margin, though, so any Boost customers with a thing for big screens will likely want to save their pennies and spring for the aptly-titled MAX. If you're ready to buy now, the Boost MAX's bright orange "Add to cart" button awaits your click at the link below.
