Boost Mobile and ZTE are pretty tight at this point, having collaborated on a number of Android-powered smartphones like the ZTE Warp and ZTE Warp 4G. Now it looks like the two companies have come together once again to add another new handset to Boost's prepaid lineup.
Prolific leakster @evleaks today posted an image of the "Boost Max" for Boost Mobile, a ZTE-made handset that apparently also goes by the name "Beast." The renders show a black slab with rounded corners and a slightly-customized version of Android. No spec details were included with these Boost Max images, but the shots themselves show that the unit includes a trio of capacitive navigation buttons, an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and 4G LTE connectivity.
With names like "Max" and "Beast," it seems likely that this new Boost-bound handset is going to be a pretty sizable device. Now we just have to wait until it launches to find out exactly how sizable it is. Stay tuned.
