Verizon customers haven't had any new Windows Phones in their lives since the launch of the Nokia Lumia 928 back in mid-May, but if a new leak is to be believed, that'll be changing soon.
An image posted to Twitter by @evleaks claims to show the "Nokia Lumia 929," a Verizon-branded Windows Phone that's reportedly coming in both black and white color options. Today's report makes no mention of what kind of specs that this Lumia 929 is packing, but we can see that the Start screen is displaying three columns of medium Live Tiles, indicating that it's running the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update.
This Lumia 929 is actually the second Verizon-branded Windows Phone that's leaked out recently. Last weekend we got a peek at the backside of a white Verizon-branded Lumia smartphone, complete with a 20-megapixel PureView camera. There was no model number attached to that model, but it's possible that it and this Lumia 929 are actually one and the same. Both seem like fairly large phones, and today's report mentions that the Lumia 929 will be available in both black and white, which just so happen to be the same hues that these devices have leaked in.
There's not a ton of solid information available on this Lumia 929 quite yet, but what matters most for Windows Phone fans on Verizon is that there's another Nokia-made smartphone headed their way. Are you currently rocking a Windows Phone device as your daily driver? If so, which model are you using?
