Hey Nokia fans, are you sitting down? If not, you may want to find the nearest chair-shaped object and park your rear on it, because a new image has leaked that you'll likely be interested in checking out.
A new image shared by @evleaks claims to show the Nokia Lumia 1520, also known by the codename "Bandit," in a pretty official-looking press render. The device looks a bit like a maship of the Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925, sporting a bright yellow polycarbonate frame like the one found on the 1020 that's paired with a rear camera that's reminiscent of the aluminum-clad 925.
Turning our attention to the Start screen, we can see that the 1520 has some rows with large Live Tiles resting next to medium Live Tiles in the same row. That's a feature that's expected to be supported by large-screen Windows Phone devices running the upcoming GDR3 update.
The display on the Lumia 1520 is expected to measure 6 inches in size and sport a 1080p resolution. Large phone/tablet hybrid devices have been growing in popularity in the Android world lately, and it appears that with the 1520, Windows Phone fans will finally get their first taste of the giganto-phone form factor. The largest Windows Phone device that's currently available is the 4.8-inch Samsung ATIV S, so if its rumored specs hold true, the Lumia 1520 will certainly be the largest Windows Phone released to date.
Also expected to be included with the Lumia 1520 is a quad-core processor, another feature that's enabled by GDR3, as well as a camera that's around 20-megapixels. The device will reportedly be given an official introduction at a Nokia event later this month alongside the Finnish firm's oft-rumored Windows RT tablet.
