Jonesing for more big-screened Nokia Lumia goodness after last week's leak that gave us a glimpse at the 6-inch Bandit? Well I've got some good news for you, friend, because a new screenshot that's said to have come from the Bandit itself has made its way online.

@evleaks this morning shows a Windows Phone start screen with an extra Live Tile column than the Windows Phone 8 layout that we're accustomed to. That extra column enables users will be able to place a large Live Tile and medium Live Tile right next to one another without issue. The screenshot is also higher-resolution than those produced by today's Windows Phone hardware, which backs up the
previous rumors that claimed that 1080p support is coming to Microsoft's mobile platform.
Microsoft is reportedly prepping
a new Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update that will enable support for screens larger than 5-inches in size as well as 1080p screen resolutions. Products with those features are expected to have the ability to show an extra column of Live Tiles, just like what's being displayed in this newly-leaked screenshot. Also rumored to be included in the GDR3 update is support for quad-core processors, screen rotation lock and a new "Driver Mode."
One of the first devices that will take advantage of GDR3's goodies is a Nokia device codenamed "Bandit." This handset, which may be known as the Lumia 1520 when it hits shelves, is rumored to pack a 6-inch 1080p display. Large phone/tablet hybrid devices have become increasingly popular in the Android world recently, and so I'm sure that many Windows Phone users are glad to see that support for the same big, high-res displays will soon be arriving on their mobile platform of choice.
