Just as promised, Verizon customers can now hand their hard-earned cash over to their carrier in order to reserve their very own Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Verizon has priced its flavor of the Note 3, available in Jet Black and Classic White options, at $299.99 with a two-year contract or $29.16 per month on its Verizon Edge program. Contract-averse customers can expect to pony up $699.99 full retail for the device. Verizon says that orders of the Note 3 are expected to ship "by 10/10."
Verizon is also offering bundles that include both a Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The packages are priced at $599.98 with a two-year commitment, and consumers can choose either a black or white Note 3 and then either a black, white or orange Galaxy Gear. The bundles are also available for $999.98 without a contract. Just as with the standalone Note 3, these packages are expected to ship by Oct. 10.
Verizon's not the only CDMA carrier talking about Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 this morning, as U.S. Cellular has officially announced its plans to sell the new phone/tablet hybrid. U.S. Cellular's variant of the Note 3 will be available in Jet Black and will hit store shelves in October for an undisclosed price.
Now that Verizon and U.S. Cellular have spilled at least some details of their Galaxy Note 3 rollouts, that leaves Sprint as the lone U.S. operator that hasn't made any mention of its launch plans. However, Samsung sent out a tweet this morning proclaiming that the Note 3 will hit all five operators in October. That lines up with what's been announced by AT&T, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon, and so it wouldn't be a surprise to see the new Note and its S Pen sprint onto the Now Network in October as well. Which carrier do you plan on buying the Note 3 from?
