Sony's upcoming "Honami" flagship has managed to become one of the most oft-leaked smartphones in recent memory, seemingly appearing in new photos and rumor reports every couple of days. That's a trend that continues today, as some more Honami photos of both the the leaked and official varieties have made their way online.

First up, some new images have been posted to the Digi-Wo forums that show off the Honami from all angles. We can see the front of the device and its 5-inch 1080p display, the G Lens-branded 20-megapixel camera around back, magnetic docking pins on the side and a large speaker on the bottom. In addition to this white model, a recent leak showed that Sony will offer the Honami in black and purple color options.

Sony today also posted an image of the Honami, but because the company hasn't actually announced the phone yet, the photo is a teaser of things to come. This new shot offers a close-up look at the Honami's rear camera, which is expected to be one of the device's tentpole features. Beneath the camera itself is an LED flash, and to the right is a "G" tattoo that indicates the presence of Sony's G Lens technology. This is the third Honami teaser that Sony has posted, following two shots from last week that showed the phone's power button and its waterproofing.

With its aforementioned 5-inch 1080p display and 20-megapixel camera as well as a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, the Honami looks like it should be a respectable follow-up to the Xperia Z, so long as its rumored spec sheet holds true. Whether or not it'll be enough to fight off new offerings from the likes of Samsung, HTC and Apple is still a mystery, but Sony could definitely help Honami's odds by quickly getting the device from the stage and into stores, something that it hasn't exactly been great at in the past. 

Sony recently sent out invitations to a press conference on Sept. 4, just days before IFA 2013 kicks off in Berlin. The company hasn't said exactly what it has in store, but the Honami is definitely a strong candidate, as is the recently-leaked "lens cameras."
