LG has been out of the tablet game for a while now, announcing back in mid-2012 that it'd be putting slates on the backburner in order to focus on its smartphone business. It looks like the Life's Good crew is ready to dive back into the tablet waters, though, as LG has posted a video to its official YouTube channel that teases a new device referred to as the "LG G Pad 8.3."
The video shows several people being asked what attributes would make a tablet "just right" for them. Responses include a quickness, a small and thin body, a full HD display and the ability to connect to other gadgets, such as TVs and computers.
There's not much detail on what features this new LG G Pad 8.3 might actually include, but the device's name suggests that it'll sport an 8.3-inch display. Considering this teaser video's references to a high-quality display and a small and light frame, it wouldn't be a surprise if those are features that LG is planning to include in its new slate as well, but we'll have to wait until the G Pad 8.3's official debut to learn the specifics. The good news is that with IFA 2013 less than two weeks away, it may not be long before all is revealed. Stay tuned.
