The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is already available on a number of different U.S. carriers, including the big four and Cricket Wireless. Today we can add another two to that list, as both C Spire Wireless and MetroPCS have announced that they are both offering Samsung's flagship smartphone starting today.
First up, C Spire says that its version of the Galaxy S 4 is now available online, in stores and through telesales. The regional carrier is offering the 16GB Galaxy S 4 at a price of $199.99 with a two-year commitment, and both the Black Mist and White Frost versions are available. C Spire's Galaxy S 4 includes support for its 4G LTE network.
MetroPCS customers can snag a Galaxy S 4 to call their own today as well, but the device is currently only available in select markets. That list includes Atlanta, Boston, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Hartford, Las Vegas, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco. MetroPCS says that details on additional markets and online availability will be revealed soon. Any customers that live in one of the Galaxy S 4-ified locales can snag a unit for $549 plus tax. The MetroPCS Galaxy S 4 boasts HSPA+ and 4G LTE connectivity.
The Galaxy S 4 may have taken a tad longer to reach C Spire and MetroPCS than it did with other U.S. carriers, but all that matters now is that customers on both operators now have access to the flagship Android handset. It's always good to see more consumers getting access to high-end smartphones, and by adding bringing the Galaxy S 4 to both C Spire and MetroPCS, Samsung has extended the GS4's already-lengthy carrier list even further. So, who's planning on picking up a shiny new Galaxy S 4 today?
