A couple of weeks after T-Mobile first announced the Jelly Bean update for its LG Optimus L9, the magenta operator says that LG has hit the pause button on its rollout. In its official Optimus L9 support forums, T-Mobile has announced that the L9's P76920d update to Android 4.1.2 has been put on hold so that LG can "improve performance on the new software version." T-Mobile says that it doesn't know when the update will resume.
It's unclear exactly what the problems are that caused the Optimus L9's update to be paused, but the news of it being put on hold will likely bum out any owners that still haven't installed it. Of course, LG did pause the update to make performance improvements, so those folks will (hopefully) be getting a better update once the rollout resumes. When that'll happen is anyone's guess, but as usual, you can bet that we'll share more details with you as we get 'em. Do you have a T-Mobile Optimus L9 that's been updated to Jelly Bean? If so, have you run into any issues after installing the update?
