Google appears to have finally gotten its Nexus 4 stock situation figured out, with both the 8GB and 16GB models still available for purchase from the Play Store nearly a month after it was restocked. The Play Store isn't the only place to snag a Nexus 4, though, and anyone that's in the hunt for an N4 and would be ok spending $0 for one may want to point their browser to T-Mobile's website. T-Mobile is now offering the Nexus 4 for the low, low price of free on its website, though buyers will need to spend $50 up front and then mail in a $50 rebate to reach that final total of $0. The sale will run through Feb. 24 and is only available on T-Mobile's website.
While buying a Nexus 4 through T-Mobile and signing up for a two-year contract in the process may not be everyone's idea of a good weekend, this is a pretty good deal for folks that can't quite afford the prices that Google is asking for the N4 in the Play Store. The Nexus 4 is already an attractive option for anyone in the market for a new smartphone thanks to the fact that it'll receive swift Android updates directly from Google, but adding in T-Mo's free after rebate price makes the Nexus difficult to resist. If you've embarked on a hunt for a new handset and are interested in taking T-Mobile up on its offer, the "Add to Cart" button can be found at the link below just sitting idly, waiting for you and your wallet to pounce.
