Grab your calendars, folks, because Google this afternoon has announced the registration information for the 2013 edition of its I/O conference. Registration for Google I/O 2013 will open on Wednesday, March 13, at 7 a.m. PDT/10 a.m. EST. Until then, Google is urging users to set up their Google+ and Google Wallet accounts. Google I/O 2013 will take place on May 15-17 at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco.

Google I/O is typically a pretty big show for El Goog, with the 2012 conference bringing the debut of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Nexus 7 and Nexus Q, and there was a Glass demo as well. The year before that, Google announced the Android 3.1 Honeycomb update and also teased Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Because of this, and because Google typically gives out a lot of free hardware at I/O, tickets to the developer-focused event typically sell out faster than you can say "Bugdroid." It's unlikely that registration will be any different this year, so anyone that's interested in attending Google I/O 2013 would be wise to have their credit card in one hand and their mouse or trackpad in the other as soon as the clock strikes 7/10/whatever the equivalent would be in your time zone.
