We're now less than a month away from RIM's big BlackBerry 10 launch event, and the leaks showing off the new hardware just keep on comin'. This time we're looking at a pair of full-touch BlackBerry L-Series/Z10 phones in the wild. The shots have been posted by Business Insider, whose source claims to be testing the Z10s on Verizon and AT&T. The unit on the left features a Verizon logo in its upper-left corner, but there's no such branding on the other device.
The source of this leak also passed along some details on the Z10 and how it handles. The handset is said to have a "really nice" build quality with a rubbery backside. Boot-up time is reportedly around one minute, and once the phone is up and running, the screen is described as "great." The tipster also claims that the phone's browser is speedy and that new version of BlackBerry App World (aka BlackBerry World) looks similar to Google's Play Store for Android.
RIM has said that its first BlackBerry 10 device that it releases will be a touch-only affair, and it's expected that the L-Series/Z10 will be the one that claims the title of "First BlackBerry 10 Smartphone." While it's not yet known precisely when the Z10 will actually launch to the public, a RIM executive recently revealed that the first BlackBerry 10 phones will be in stores "not too long after" the Jan. 30 launch event. It's also worth noting that Verizon has already confirmed that it will offer a BlackBerry 10 device, and while it was previously unknown which model Big Red would carry, it looks like that mystery's just been solved.
