For the fifth consecutive week, the Samsung Galaxy Note II topped both the People's Choice Chart and the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart in PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™. Although its lead was narrowed in the People's Choice Chart, it appears as if the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be the #1 phone for the month once again.
MT PLEASANT, SC – For 43 weeks and counting, PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) have set the standard for ranking the market's hottest devices by taking reader and expert votes for respective charts. For five weeks straight, the Samsung Galaxy Note II has been the top pick for both readers and experts. In week 43, it lead the Apple iPhone 5 by 14 expert points and bested the Nokia Lumia 920 by 12 votes.
The Nokia Lumia 920 once again held its position at #2 in the People's Choice Chart. And in third for the People's Choice Chart is the Samsung Galaxy S III yet again. In the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, the three positions remained the same, too. The Apple iPhone 5 placed in second with 30 expert points and the HTC DROID DNA took third with 23 points. The Samsung Galaxy S III garnered 19 points, even after five months on the market..
“A blend of great specifications and unique yet useful software features are what continue to keep the Samsung Galaxy Note II at the top of PhoneDog’s Official Smartphone Rankings," said Taylor Martin, Managing Editor of PhoneDog.
