For week 42, Samsung’s popular phablet ranked #1 in both the People’s Choice Chart and Mobile Tech Expert’s Chart with ease. It’s well on its way to becoming the overall #1 smartphone for December.
MT PLEASANT, SC – PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) raises the bar for ranking the best smartphones available by weighing readers' and experts' opinions via weekly votes. For the week ending December 23, the Samsung Galaxy Note II took first place in both the People's Choice Chart and Mobile Tech Expert's Chart. With more than a 160 vote lead in the People's Choice Chart and four more expert points than the Apple iPhone 5 in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, the Samsung Galaxy Note II continued its dominance.
The Nokia Lumia 920 took second place once again in the People’s Choice Chart, besting the Samsung Galaxy S III in third by 44 votes. The rest of the top five stayed the same with the Google Nexus 4 and HTC DROID DNA in fourth and fifth, respectively. In the Mobile Tech Expert’s Chart, the Apple iPhone 5 held strong second place with 33 expert points, just four shy of a two-way tie for first. The HTC DROID DNA took third place with 19 points.
