Hungry for some details on an unannounced HTC Android handset? Of course you are! We've got just that on this fine Monday evening, as some purported information on the HTC DLX have trickled out online. According to @Football4PDA on Twitter, who's been responsible for a couple of other accurate HTC leaks recently, the DLX will tout a 5-inch display of the full HD variety as well as 12-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras. We're also told to expect a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 16GB storage, 1.5GB RAM and a non-removable 2,500mAh battery inside the device. Finally, it's said that Android 4.1.2 will be loaded onto the DLX.
Rumors of a 5-inch HTC device have been floating around since late April, and since then, the phone has popped up in a benchmark and possibly even in a pair of photos. Unfortunately, it's not known when we might see the handset show up on store shelves, though it's expected to be offered by Verizon when it does. So long as the rumored specs for the DLX hold up, it sounds like a device that could compete for a spot on the wish lists of many Verizon customers as we near the holiday season. Here's to hoping that we get some sort of official word on it soon.
