Samsung's Galaxy S III shows no signs of slowing down as the people's top pick and the Apple iPhone 5 is making itself comfortable as the experts’ top smartphone. MT PLEASANT, SC – PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) continues to set the standard for weighing expert and reader opinions to rank the hottest smartphones in the market. For week 31, the Samsung Galaxy S III held its #1 spot in the People's Choice Chart, besting the Apple iPhone 5 by a wide margin of 602 votes. The Apple iPhone 5, however, took the #1 spot in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, beating the Samsung Galaxy S III by five points.
For the People's Choice Chart, the Apple iPhone 5 remained the #2 pick for the second consecutive week. Following by 106 reader votes is the HTC One X in the #3 position. In second place for the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart is the Samsung Galaxy S III, trailing the Apple iPhone 5 by only five expert points. With 33 points, the HTC One X takes third place by the experts' standards, once again.
