Have something on your schedule for Wednesday, August 15? You might want to cancel your plans, because Samsung just revealed that it's planning a "major announcement and unveiling of the newest Galaxy device" on that date. The company didn't offer up any other details as to what it might have up its sleeve.
So just what might Samsung be planning? The Galaxy Note II certainly springs to mind, but that device is reportedly due to debut at IFA (which doesn't kick off until the end of August), much like its predecessor did last year. The Galaxy Note 10.1 is also a possibility, especially considering that we've yet to hear anything about the slate from Samsung since its official introduction in February. Since Samsung doesn't seem keen on sharing any details of its announcement right now, we'll just have to speculate until the company decides to loosen its lips a bit.
