Last night HTC and Sprint took the wraps off of the EVO 4G LTE, its latest addition to the EVO family. Today HTC has released a new promo video for the device titled "Get to know the HTC EVO 4G LTE," but it looks like the clip may offer a quick peek at another possible upcoming EVO device. At around the 24 second mark, the camera is panning along a group of HTC devices turned face down, and the handset at the very end of the line looks just like the EVO 4G LTE, but with what looks to be a second camera and flash combo.
So is HTC indeed prepping a follow-up to the EVO 3D? It's certainly a possibility, and an EVO 3D successor could make sense for HTC now that they've taken the wraps off of the EVO 4G LTE, which serves as a follow-up to the EVO 4G. Only HTC knows for sure whether the device in the image above is actually a handset that'll be coming to market or if it's a prototype that'll never see the light of day.
