HTC announced earlier this week at MWC that its new One S smartphone will be released on T-Mobile here in the U.S., but a new rumor has surfaced to suggest that that's not the only One that's Magenta-bound. According to a report from Android and Me, "a number of trusted sources" have said that the HTC One X will hit T-Mobile with HSPA+ this summer and, unlike the AT&T variant, could also feature a quad-core Tegra 3 processor similar to what's found in the international model. The tipsters also allege that the T-Mobile One X will feature a vanilla version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and that it'll be dubbed "G4x" at launch.

This isn't the first time that the G4x name has popped up, as we first got wind of it exactly one week ago. However, at the time it was thought that it was the LG Optimus 4X HD that would eventually claim the title of "G4x." Obviously all of this is still very much a rumor at this point, but we've seen HTC produce a couple of G-branded handsets for T-Mobile in the past, so it's certainly possible that Magenta could opt to go with HTC again for the G4x rather than team up with LG like it did with the G2x.
