Ready for a shiny new Android handset, Sprint customers? You'll be getting just that soon enough, according to a leaked image sent to the folks over at SprintFeed. The device you see above is the ZTE Fury, and as you could probably by guess its low full retail and on contract pricing, we're looking at an entry-level type of smartphone here. The Fury's packing a 3.5-inch display and 5-megapixel camera, and under its hood you'll find a combination of a 1GHz processor, 4GB internal storage and 512MB RAM. There appears to be a fairly clean version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread loaded onto the Fury, though the spec list does mention that Sprint ID will come on board.

As I mentioned before, the ZTE is going to be pretty easy on customers' wallets when it launches, with pricing listed at $19.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract or $219.99 full retail. Speaking of launch, the Fury's release date is still unknown. SprintFeed originally heard that it was set to arrive on March 11th, but now the site says that that may no longer be the case, and the image above only mentions that the Fury is "Coming Soon."

So that's the ZTE Fury. It may not be a high-end handset like the mysterious HTC Jewel that we heard about yesterday, but choice is always a good thing, and it's nice to see Sprint continue to flesh out its Android lineup. And hey, perhaps we'll see Sprint switch things up and reveal something a little more bleeding edge after the Fury hits store shelves. We'll pass along more details on the ZTE Fury as we get them.
