Apparently, smart watches are all the rage. We saw Motorola introduce the MOTOACTV back in October, Apple's iPod Nano has been gradually turned into a smart(er) watch and several other companies are beginning to jump on the bandwagon, too. Earlier tonight, I got to spend some time with the Sony SmartWatch and snag a few pictures.

Details on the SmartWatch itself are pretty scarce, but honestly, there is not much to know – it has a power button, touchscreen display, a clip on the back and it wirelessly connects to your Android phone, serving as a remote control of sorts.

It's not clear when exactly the Sony SmartWatch will release, but it will cost a mere $150 once it's available. Is the smart watch trend one to keep an eye on? Is Sony's SmartWatch a good start? Or it there something else you'd rather have that you've seen mentioned in Vegas this week?
