We've seen a lot of images of what may be AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S II variants leak out as of late, but today it's Motorola's turn in the leaky spotlight. The device you see above originated over at Chinese forum IT168 and, well, it looks an awful lot like a revised Motorola Atrix 4G. Details on the handset are light, although the photos of the phone's backside show that it's packing an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture, up from the Atrix's 5-megapixel shooter with 720p video recording. Around front we can see the AT&T logo to the right, a newer version of Motorola's Applications Platform, a front-facing camera, and what looks like a curved glass screen. Additionally, a new lock button can be found on the top right of the handset. It's rumored that this handset could feature a 1280x720 (720p) HD resolution display and the model number MB865, but those details originated in a separate blog report and can't be confirmed at this point.
It seems like a pretty safe bet to think that Motorola and AT&T have something planned as a follow-up to the Atrix and, although it's not yet clear whether or not this is indeed that device, it certainly looks like it could be a worth successor. What do you folks make of this leak? Could this mysterious handset actually be Moto and AT&T's sequel to the Atrix?
