Got a hunger for big handsets that even devices like the Samsung Infuse 4G and Dell Streak can satisfy? Perhaps the Samsung Galaxy Q will finally fill your giganto-phone needs. The device, according to a report from Yahoo Korea, features a 5.3-inch display of the Super AMOLED Plus variety as well as WCDMA and 4G LTE connectivity. Other details on the phone/tablet hybrid are still up in the air, but the Galaxy Q will reportedly be making its debut at IFA in Berlin, which takes place from September 2nd to the 7th.
A 5.3-inch handset definitely sounds like a pocketful, but such a large device could have appeal to a lot of folks just because it is so large. Packing in a Super AMOLED Plus display and LTE certainly wouldn't hurt, either. There's no word on whether or not we'll ever see the Galaxy Q come stateside, but expect all to be revealed in September. In the mean time, it may be a good idea to begin shopping for a few new pairs of cargo pants.
